The afternoon of kayaking was wonderful! Great weather, blue skies, seagulls, outstanding scenery -- and after 6+ weeks of home confinement it was heavenly! Employees did their best to social distance, while still being helpful and pleasant.

Such a great team and a great experience... every time! Highly recommend;) Have fun!

We rented our equipment there for a buddies bachelor party. The people were very nice and accommodating. Parking can be a pain if it’s busy at the adjacent restaurants tho.

Team members were very pleasant and helpful. All gear was in good condition. Staff was informative for the first time kayakers in our group. We saw two dolphins and plenty of wildlife during our trip. They gave our 9 year old a “wildlife scavenger hunt” to help identify different birds and aquatic species. Shem creek was busy but all boaters were respectful of being on a kayak. Free parking is available but if full, paid parking was plentiful and fairly priced. Would use nature adventure again for our next kayaking trip.

We had a great experience in a tandem kayak. The launch spot is so convenient. We saw several dolphins that swam along side us and enjoyed such a scenic experience along the water. All of the employees were so kind and helpful! When we were done we were able to enjoy restrooms nearby and a great meal in vibrant Shem creek watching all of the boats come and go. Just perfect!

Amazing time with my wife on a tandem kayak, it was my first time, the guides before we went out (they don’t go with you) showed, explained, and taught us all we needed to know to have a great time! Great place to see dolphins, boats, and many other surrounding areas! We will be back!

This is a great company! The rental equipment was is great shape and the staff was so friendly and delightful. We had a short tutorial before they let us go with a tandem kayak. Lots of baby dolphins to see in Shem Creek. Special thanks to Bryson! He's a stand out!

Nature Adventures is the absolute best choice for kayaking, paddle boarding, or water tours in Charleston. The staff is friendly and knowledgable, rates are very competitive, and the equipment is well maintained. I am an experienced kayaker, so I took one out on my own, but the staff provides thorough instructions and training for all levels. You can go on your own, in a group, or even with a guide. Nature Adventures is conveniently located on Shem Creek, which provides many options for exploring inlets or the harbor. I saw dolphins, manatees, and many types of fish and birds on my paddle, which was an extra bonus. Definitely consider Nature Adventures for your next water outing - they will not disappoint!

We did a 4 hour kayak adventure on our own…it was fabulous! They provided basic instruction as we had kayaked before and some guidelines. We were able to see dolphins and a ton of birds. The kayaking itself was a great workout.
