I was nervous about embarking on my first paddle boarding adventure particularly since my friends didn't want to join me on the water. Fortunately I booked a guided tour and ended up with Matt. Not only did he quickly calm my nerves and teach me how to paddle board but he shared his scientific knowledge of the environment, pointed out dolphins and other wildlife and even took pictures for me. This was hands down the best part of my trip! Don't miss out on this opportunity; I hope I have the chance to do it again!

My 17 year old daughter and I had never been paddle boarding. Neither one of us are big gym bodies, yet we had no problem catching onto standing up on the boards. We went early in the morning and Bryson was our guide. 5 minutes down the creek and we were surrounded by 5 Manatees! It was fantastic! They were so social and seemed as interested in us as we were in them! After interacting with the manatees we heard out to the inlet. Bryson was helpful to us on how to control our boards and patient as we made our way out. He was funny and full of info about the birds and also Logan Charleston history, even my daughter, who's least favorite subject is history, was laughing at his humorous stories. Paddleboarding was such an amazing experience and so much fun. I can't wait to do it again. If you are worried on your first time definitly take the tour. You will be a confidant boarder by the end!

First time paddle boarding......they make it so easy and it was a blast. The entire process from signing up online to arriving and getting equipment fitted was seamless and fun. Ben was our guide and we were fortunate to have had him on a kayak tour years ago. So knowledgeable of the sport, the area, and the natural beauty surrounding us during the paddle. We had people in our group of 5 from their 20’s to their 70’s. Get this off your bucket list. You will be glad you did and yep we did see a dolphin on Shem Creek while paddling which added to,the experience.

We had an awesome experience paddle-boarding on Shems Creek. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We saw lots of wildlife. Will definitely be returning customers!

We did the paddle board tour and it was amazing! Blaine was the best tour guide he made us all feel comfortable and gave us tips along the way! Tons of local knowledge, very friendly! We saw manatees and dolphins! 10/10 recommend

This was my first paddle boarding adventure. Ben was a wonderful and informative guide. Definitely put my fears at ease. Can't wait to come back and do it again. Oh, and the dolphins were an extra bonus to the perfect day!

We had so much fun as an advanced paddle boarder and my husband had so much fun as a first timer, and after a really hard day. Chandler helps give an exciting stress-free experience for all.

I was reluctant to paddle board, not having done before, but it was such a good experience and surprisingly not difficult. Best 2 hour tour!!!

We went on a paddle board tour and blayne was our tour guide. Blayne was an amazing tour guide and very educated on everything Shem Creek. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide!! If your thinking about doing this tour I highly recommend!

We did a paddle boarding tour with Hazel for my fiancé’s birthday. The tour was great and Hazel was an awesome guide. She was very knowledgeable but fun as well. Highly recommend going if you’re interested.

Today was my 40th birthday and we celebrated by paddle boarding! I always wanted to try and now I have! 4 of us went. 2 of us fell, 1 of us (me) fell twice Haha! Christian was our guide and was great. Knew a lot of stuff. I have lived here a long long time and still learned some things about the area! The calm creek and harbor is best! The water got a little rough out there in the big water but still a great time! For being the most novice and probably really out of shape, I will say, you can and should do it too! We will definitely be going back! It is a fun way to get a good work out too!

Chandler was a great guide. She gave me so many helpful tips to make paddle boarding a breeze. We went down a beautiful creek that I would’ve never known to explore and I even got to learn about the wild life of Charleston. I will certainly be back!

We did a 2hr guided paddle boarding trip! Grace was our guide and she was amazing! She grew up in Charleston and was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and culture!! On our trip we were able to see dolphins, pelicans, and a variety of other native birds. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!!

Definitely worth checking out. I was the only person who showed up for the early paddle board guided tour and Blaine still took me out and explained to me the general history of Shem’s Creek and Charleston harbor. Multiple sightings of dolphins, rays and manatees! Great experience, thanks!

We had a great time on our paddle board tour! Erin was our guide and she was amazing! So knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, as well as history of the area. The scenery alone was incredible, but her expertise made the experience even better!
