I wish I could have used this rental company i showed up to today I did have my own kayak and I planned on renting an all day tandem Kayak rental for my wife and son so they could go out with me. Before making 10 feet from my truck across the parking lot walking to the window. I was met with a very rude older lady who kept informing me that I could NOT put my kayak in it was a private launch. To my reply was I wanted to rent a kayak for my wife. She wouldn’t listen to me and just kept repeating herself stating I could NOT out my kayak in I would have to use the public launch across the street. I told her I understood and she then replied by stating it was a private launch I could not use it! After thinking for a moment if they were going to be this rude and I hadn’t even made it to the window to rent the kayak how would they be when we came back. Apparently they didn’t want my 75 dollars plus tax so we took our business elsewhere. I understand it’s a private launch it was the way she came running up to me yelling and I had only made it 10 feet from my truck.

Booked a 4 hour rental with kayaks. The guides gave a great overview and tutorial. Great way to see the area.

I'd definitely recommend this if you aren't familiar with Charleston or being in a kayak! If you know about the Shem creek area - then don't worry about a guide. You can still use their kayak's without one. It was fun and my arms didn't hurt the next day!

I had such a good time going out on the Thursday night social! I am new to CHS and this was a great way to meet people and feel safe in the water. I’ve usually paddled on lakes in the mountains so having these Low Country guides was invaluable to navigate Shem Creek, the tides, and see the sunset!

I’m a local and use this company on a regular basis for birthdays and Mother’s Day. They’ve always been extremely efficient and knowledgeable. I’ll recommend nature’s adventures to literally anyone who’s interested, beginner or expert. They’ll guide you around if you’re into that or give you a kayak and send you into the creek with a map to meander as you please.

My husband and I went, He has been kayaking, this was my 1st time. It was fabulous! Everyone there was super friendly and made it easy for me to understand! Best Anniversary day! Will definitely be back!

There is nothing like being on the water, and with the help of great staff at Nature's Adventures it just makes it so much better. They are very knowledgeable and safety oriented to make sure your time on the water is the absolute best! Defiantly a great place for singles or groups of people to explore the waters of Charleston! The people working there are so helpful and nice. We had a great time even after my friend cut her foot on oyster shell due to her. They were so attentive and helping clean the wound. They even took the time call the next day to check us. I would so highly recommend them and go kayaking next time instead.

Love the late afternoon specials for those days when a relaxing, relatively short paddle fits into the schedule.

This was my first Kayaking experience in Charleston. I went with a group and the folks at Nature Adventures Kayak were great. Lots of folks of all ages and skill levels were out enjoying the water in Kayaks, boats, and SUPs. Highly recommended for outdoor exercise. No prior experience needed. There are a couple of eateries and a hotel in the area so there is traffic and you will have to be careful about the parking to avoid a ticket or towing.

Really friendly and informative staff! On the logistical end; I would’ve preferred a shorter kayak and wished there were kayak specific lanes. Once you’re out in the channel, boat traffic was pretty heavy the morning I was there and at times hard to predict which direction a boat was headed!😳. All in all, it was fun!
