Matt was our guide today on our 2 hr kayak tour. I rented a tandem for my 15 yo daughter and I. Matt was super informative about the wildlife and history. Learned lots on the trip. Only bummer was not seeing the Dolphins as we had hoped. No fault of the tour of course. Highly recommend!

What a great way to see Shem Creek and Mt Pleasant from the water! Christian was a great tour guide filled with knowledge and stories to share with us. The dolphin swimming past us on the way back in was an awesome touch!

We enjoyed our time with Nature’s Adventures on Shem Creek. We took a Kayak Tour with Joshua. He was amazing! His knowledge of Charleston, Shem Creek and the surrounding area was a plus. We really wanted to see dolphins and he delivered.

My daughter took this tour and she had a blast!! She saw so much and was so excited she couldn't get it all out into words. She is 12 and I think this is a great age to explore nature.

What an adventure! Met with our tour guide John in the Frances Marion Forest and started our kayak adventure with a brief orientation on kayakking. The trip on the black water of the wacamaw was like going into a whole new world! If you have high blood pressure, this trip is guaranteed to bring it down? Saw several gators, 1000 yr old cypress trees, a variety if birds and fora and fauna. John was an outstanding guide! Great workout too! Highly recommend this trip!

The trip got 1 hr delayed and we waited in the sun. We had to pay $4 just to apply sunscreen and they didn't even offer a discount even though the trip was 1 hour late. One of the two guide was very friendly and informing, but the other talked for such a long time about irrelevant things.

Ben took us out on a sunset kayak tour of Shem Creek, and it was a fantastic experience. His knowledge of the ecology and sense of humor made it educational and fun, and he provided guidance with kayaking skills and the opportunity to explore interesting spots. He made sure that the second half of the tour was more of a float and I particularly enjoyed the period of quiet when the group simply floated a distance and not one person was talking - just taking in the experience and enjoying the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the nature around us. Highly recommend.

We had a perfect afternoon on Saturday with our guide, John. It turned out just to be the two of us that signed up for that excursion, so it felt like a private tour of the Wambaw. John knew so much about the area and the park that I would have missed. I left with a huge knowledge of South Carolina that I did not know before. During our trip we saw plenty of wildlife and were able to experience the creek at low and high tides, which made for a very unique trip. We also hit a brief rainstorm in the middle of the adventure and just parked under one of the massive trees for cover. This was a birthday excursion for me and I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you all for your organization and passion for the environment!!

The tour guide we had was wonderful- had so many stories to share about the history of Charleston and the nature around. Would highly recommend!

We had a perfect morning with cloud cover and very gentle breezes to moderate the heat. Ben was very knowledgeable and made the tour really interesting by sharing all kinds of historical and scientific information. In summer we were very glad we took the 8am tour.

My husband and I had never been kayaking before and loved our first experience! At 60+ years old we had a few concerns but were eager to try. Our 8 am tour was perfect. Calm water, not too hot outdoors yet, and few boats. We didn’t see dolphins but I found a moon jelly fish and we saw many birds which Dan, our guide, identified. Dan was very knowledgeable and helpful. We’d go again in a heartbeat!!

We had a wonderful time on our tour yesterday. Our guide, Ben, was very informative and just an all round fun and funny guy. We saw an egret, a manatee and a two dolphins. Great experience, I’ll definitely be back!

Took the family on a kayak tour ours of Shem Creek near Charleston, SC. We has a great time kayaking alongside dolphins and cranes and other birds. Our guide was great (Haven). Definitely a fun activity.

Super fun and cool way to see and learn about the area! The guide was great. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome activity to do and I know we’ll be back to do it again.

This was our second time with this group. The trip is kayaking thru a creek in black water swamp. Nature Adventurers provided all that was needed. Our guide (Theresa) was excellent with throrough knowledge of area and wildlife. Would highly recommend trip and Theresa.

Our 2 hr Full Moon Shem Creek Tour was wonderful. We saw an amazing sunset and a beautiful moon rise. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was full of interesting wildlife facts. Highly recommend!

My wife and I took the kayak tour in the early morning. Neither of us had been on a kayak before, but our guide, Jim, had us feeling like pros in no time. The boat traffic was low that day and the water was very calm. Making the day a relaxing, yet fun, way to cap off our vacation. Jim is very knowledgeable about the biology and history of the area. A good trip for the young and old alike.

Ethan was our tour guide. He did a good job at giving some history and good information of the area. It was very laid back they explain how to kayak even if you have never done it. Good experience.

We decided to go kayaking on a guided tour. We had a a very small group of two couples and the guide. I would recommend going on a rainy day because you aren’t sweating while kayaking. We were able to go through some estuaries and the guide gave us some very interesting details.

We had a great paddle with Matt as our guide. He is wonderful - a wealth of natural and historic information. Saw tons of birds including an eagle!
