Went with a group of girlfriends on the swamp tour with Eddie. What a wonderful experience. Not only was it beautiful and incredibly peaceful, but Eddie was really informative about the Wambaw and its environment. Loved the outing and the company.

I did the evening tour with my wife and we both really enjoyed it. Our guide was a marine biologist so he was able to provide information about the surroundings and the wildlife throughout the trip. We paddled all through Shem Creek, along the commercial and residential areas. The ride was peaceful and fun and 2 hours was just the right amount of time. We saw lots of dolphins and wildlife, as well as beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this tour operator and the guided tour.

Best place to go kayaking I'd highly recommend taking a tour.

My husband and I had a great time on the guided kayaking tour. It was a small group with one tour guide Tori who was great. She was very knowledgeable about Charleston. We saw dolphins before we even got on a kayak!!! There was one swimming in the bay where we were loading onto our kayaks. We saw more dolphins as we were rowing in the bay. We also saw multiple different bird species and crabs and my husband said he saw a manatee. It was definitely a fun and relaxing experience. Definitely want to go back!!

Took my family out for a kayaking trip and we had an absolute blast. Shawn was amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and super patient with everyone. The entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and felt confident on the water. From the moment we arrived to the final paddle back, everything was smooth, fun, and memorable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-tier family adventure!

We had an amazing time on Shem Creek! Our tour guide, Charlie, was fantastic! He had a wonderful sense of humor, a great disposition, and really made the day special. He also shared so much interesting information about the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was such a fun day with friends!

Our family really enjoyed our tour guide and experience. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and shared interesting facts w/ us. Lacking one star because there was no way to cancel (for rain) or reschedule. I had to drive over and two people were sitting in the office and never answered the phone once which was frustrating.

Matt was a great and informative tour guide.

Easy paddle (Not intense) to the Charleston harbor. Great views of Charleston and the bridge. The guide was knowledgeable about the local area. Check-in was easy. Since we were able to do this on an off day - Tuesday - non-tourist season (not a lot of people) parking was free (these are the spaces next to the street) . I would not want to come during the busy season since parking would be expensive and nonexistent.

We had a wonderful experience on our 2 hour guided kayak tour. It definitely was exhausting toward the end but so worth it. We saw a dolphin in the creek!! So crazy. The scenery was beautiful. Our tour guide Ethan was great! I definitely recommend!

Easy to book online. A few days after booking I called with a question but got their voicemail and hung up. They called me back bc they saw they'd missed a call from my number! Super impressed with their customer service! Kayak Tour was great! Ben was awesome - fun & personable & knowledgeable. Had a fantastic experience! Highly recommend!!

We went with Ed as a guide kayaking on Shem Creek and would recommend this to everyone!! Ed was knowledgable about the sea life and the history of the region. He took us at a good pace around the creek and to the pelican island--we saw loads of birds, fish and dolphins.

Unfortunately there was a really high tide the day we rented SUPs, but we absolutely loved our guide, Kent. Cute area with several bars/restaurants within walking distance. VERY reasonably priced. Recommend happy hour at the Shem Creek Inn.

We had a lovely time on the Picnic and Paddle trip with our guide, Matt. He was very knowledgeable of not only the Charleston area and marine life, but also the area history, the ecosystem, paddling, and college football!

We went on a guided kayaking trip to Wambaw Creek; one of the Blackwater creeks in the Francis Marion National Forest. Fascinating! The guide met us ay the appointed time and location, the equipment was excellent, and his instructions to novice paddlers was patient and clear. Children above about 10 can do this in a tandem 2 seat kayak with an adult. We had a great time and the guide was superb.

My boyfriend and I went on the two hour Shem creek tour and we had a great time. It was super informative and our tour guide knew so much about the wildlife and the area. Not to mention the price was great! Definitely going to be going on more tours with them!

Really nice way to spend a few hours in Charleston. Matt and Elizabeth are really great , saw lots of great wildlife including Dolphins and sea birds . Would highly recommend !

The staff at Nature Adventures were awesome. It was a great kayaking experience and our guide, Ethan, impressed us with his knowledge of the marsh and its habitats, making it an interesting trip on Shem Creek. We did the late afternoon tour and it was very peaceful.

Our guide Ryan was knowledgable about boats and the flora and fauna in the area. He also had good histories of the area. Very fun.

this was my first time kayaking & felt good about it but was a little nervous. Our guide was reassuring & I did great! He was very knowledgable about kayaking & the entire area. He was also very friendly & aware of safety at all times. The tour was everything I hoped it would be. We had a very leisurely 2 hour tour. We saw many dolphin, caught a glimpse of a manatee, & tons of beautiful birds. Highly recommend! Ask for Kevin!
