Had a great time! Nice staff.

Staff was great. Well managed and explanation of safety and where one can paddle. Equipment was good condition. We went on a windy day so that made the one direction harder to paddle. I think the sit in kayaks might paddle a little easier.

With all the 5 star reviews, I expected the kayaking experience to be a bit more “nature” oriented. While we liked being on our own with the kayaks, the area was busy. You have to paddle through a heavily used boating lane to get to the 3 places you can kayak. We did see dolphins in the boating lane , which was fun, but we certainly didn’t feel like we could hang out and enjoy them with all the boat traffic. Two of the places to kayak have lots of street noise, so the quiet nature feel wasn’t there. The third place is in more open waters which again is full of boats and even big ships. We enjoyed being on the water, but the name of the company is misleading if you want to have a “nature” experience!

Great 2 hour kayak trip in Shem. Saw dolphins, shore birds and crabs. The employees were knowledgeable and friendly!

Pulled in to parking lot and got a spot in the free spaces right away. If I had to pay it would have been fine too, it’s tourism what do you expect. Went up to counter booked 2 kayaks with within a few minutes. Quick bs safety rundown and shown a map of the area and we headed down to launch. Only small complaint I have is here where I wanted to be in the more spacious kayak but mine was a little tight as they put my girlfriend the more spacious one which was understandable. Cool spot to launch with boats and restaurants along the creek. Headed out to the inner coastal, saw dolphins in between the piers and island just as they said. On the way back we saw a manatee which I guess is rare so that was pretty cool. Headed the other way down the creek however not much to see there. Overall nice streamlined experience and it was nice to rent kayaks and not have to follow a tour guide. Would definitely recommend

I stopped here with only an hour or so to spare and the girls were great! They only charged me $25 for 2hrs, so very good value for money! I was very quickly sorted with a board and paddle, given a quick brief and shown the various routes on a map. Having SUP’d before, they didn’t waste my time and I was quickly on my way! Point to note, there are only the public toilets in Shem Creek Park (in the car park), I don’t believe there were shower facilities-but could be wrong! I would definitely hire with this company again!

Had an amazing and peaceful time kayaking on the most beautiful sunset and also under a full moon on perfect clear sky! Special thanks to the gentlemen that guided our 2 hr tour!

My husband and son did the half day kayak yesterday and they loved it. There were dolphins flipping all around them, so close you could almost touch them. Every body was very nice and knowledgeable and helpful. They will definitely do this again.

I’ve been kayaking here twice now, and both times were such a great experience! The team is super helpful and makes everything really easy. It’s always fun, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great day on the water.

It was one of the most fun days I have ever had! The creek is beautiful with dolphins swimming right next to you. The staff did a great job with explaining instructions and encouraging safety. Great price! Will definitely be returning for another day on the water.

We live locally and rent kayaks as it’s far easier than unloading and loading them for a short trip. Crab Bank Is the perfect destination for an afternoon family outing and picnic. We saw pelicans, dolphins, and lots and lots of sharks teeth! Staff were extremely kind and helpful - especially with children. Thank you for an amazing afternoon!
